"O'ahu" is part of my Hawaiian Island Series. I chose hibiscus flowers for this painting for several reasons. One being that you can't see a hibiscus without thinking of Hawai'i or aloha. Also, there are so many different colors and varieties of hibiscus, from the yellow hibiscus as Hawaii's state flower, to pinks and reds and even hybrids! Similarly, the island of O'ahu is a melting pot of different cultures, cuisines, art, ethnicities and activities. It truly has it all. 


This is NOT the original painting, but rather a giclee reprint on stretched canvas that is gallery wrapped and ready to hang on your wall!
